County Assessor - Saint Louis County Assessor

Responsible for administering assessment for the county. Supervises and advises local jurisdictions on assessment matters, conducts statistical studies of assessment ratios, prepares appraisals for the County Board of Equalization and tax court, and advises the County Board. Provides assessment services for all unorganized townships and organized jurisdictions that contract with the county.

Reappraises all parcels at least once every five years, inspects changes affecting value, administers homestead and other classifications, reviews taxpayer complaints, and assists local Boards of Review in evaluating appraisals.
