Senior Services - Community Emergency Assistance Programs - CEAP

Provides nutrition resources to maintain and improve the health and wellness of seniors. This program includes services such as: - Nutritional Assistance Program for Seniors (NAPS): Adults aged 60 and older who have more mobility and are comfortable with some cooking. NAPS is a boxed program (meaning food is prescribed and prepackaged). Participants can also shop at the Food Shelf while waiting for their NAPS box. - Silver Selects: Adults 60 and older who have difficulty shopping and cooking but are able to come to CEAP once or twice each month. Each participant can receive 28 frozen meals per month and can either pick up all 28 at one time or 14 meals twice each month. Participants can also shop at the Food Shelf when picking up their frozen meals.

Seniors age 60 and older; primarily serves residents of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park and the north Camden neighborhood of Minneapolis (north of 49th Avenue), Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope, East Plymouth, and Robbinsdale
