Eligibility

Referral from a social worker, non-profit advocate, or pastor is required to access the furnishing program services. Serves residents of Carver County, western Hennepin County, McLeod County, Scott County, Sibley County, and southern Wright County Minnesota.

Application process

- Referral by email required. Referrals can be emailed to [email protected] and must include the recipient's name. Once email is sent, recipients can walk in to shop during open hours. - Example of a referral email: "I am referring Jane Doe to your furniture program. She receives services from us."

Fees

Once a referral is made, the recipient is awarded a $150 credit to shop for furniture. Credits are available once per calendar year. Delivery fees are separate and can not be used with the credit amount. Referring agencies can add additional funds and delivery costs to recipients.

Offers free furniture and household items, which may include: - Chairs - Couches - Dishes - Games - Lamps - Puzzles - Silverware - Shelves - Small appliances - Tables - Toys Delivery services available for an additonal cost Accepts donations of gently used and clean furniture and household items. Does not accept box springs, car seats, entertainment centers, exercise equipment, mattresses, sofa beds, or window blinds.
