Department of Human Services Application Form #0250 Call your county social service department and ask to speak with the licensing intake worker. Basic information about foster care licensing will be provided and any specific questions you have about foster care will be answered.

None to apply for licensure, but a fee may be incurred with the criminal background check or State Fire Marshall inspection

Families are needed to open their homes to school age children needing a temporary place to live. Placements vary in length. Foster providers become part of the agency team that works closely to meet the child's needs and with the child's parents toward the goal of reuniting the family or finding permanency for the child.
