Prepares, responds to, helps mitigate, and recover from any natural or man-made disaster or act of terrorism through planning, education, training, and exercises. Works with community partners to maximize the capability of the county to respond and recover from disasters occurring throughout the county to save lives and protect property in the event of an emergency.
