Community Group Conferencing brings together the offender and victim of his/her crime, families, law enforcement, and community members to come up with the consequences for juvenile offender. The conference is done in a highly structured setting and led by a trained facilitator who serves as a neutral party. All parties talk about the crime and the behavior, how it affects them, and how to repair the harm that was caused. The juvenile case is managed by the Program Coordinator and is closed after the conference and all terms have been met, up to six months.
