Provides mental health services to children to support and improve children's social skills, emotional development, and well-being. Common children's mental health issues involve: - Engaging in risky or self-injurious behaviors - Feeling sad or worthless - Inability to cope with significant losses, traumas, major life events, and changes - Inability to control anger or aggression - Inability to manage worries, troubling thoughts, or feelings - Other difficulties related to a child's mood, behavior, thoughts, or relationships - Problems getting along with peers or adults Services include: - Assessments for mental health - Case management and ongoing support - Day treatment - Individual and family therapy - In-home counseling and skills training
