Provides mental health services to children to support and improve children's social skills, emotional development, and well-being. Common children's mental health issues involve:- Engaging in risky or self-injurious behaviors- Feeling sad or worthless- Inability to cope with significant losses, traumas, major life events, and changes- Inability to control anger or aggression- Inability to manage worries, troubling thoughts, or feelings- Other difficulties related to a child's mood, behavior, thoughts, or relationships- Problems getting along with peers or adultsServices include:- Assessments for mental health- Case management and ongoing support- Day treatment- Individual and family therapy- In-home counseling and skills training
