Operates a permanent Household Hazardous Waste Facility that allows residents to dispose of their household hazardous waste. Types of waste products accepted at the facility include- Acids/Bases- Aerosol Cans--empty cans should go into the trash- Antifreeze- Fluids- Cell Phones- Cleaners- Cooking Oil- Fire Extinguishers- Fluorescent Bulbs (Disposal of 10 Bulbs Per Year Is Free)- Gasoline- Mercury- Motor Oil/Filters- No auto batteries, ammunition, appliances, TV's or electronics- Non-Controlled Medications- Paint--empty or dried up cans should go into the trash- Pesticides- Propane Cylinders- Rechargeable Batteries- Residential Sharps- Solvents- Stain/VarnishThe facility operates a used product exchange for paint and other usable products.
