COVID-19 Vaccines for Veterans - Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Health Care System

Eligibility

Open to all Veterans, spouse of a Veteran, caregivers of a Veteran, recipients of Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA) benefits; there may be service related eligibility requirements

Hours

  • Enrolled Veterans/Call Center: Monday - Friday 7 am - 7 pm, or walk-in without an appointment Monday - Friday 8 am - 3 pm- Non-enrolled Veterans, Veteran Spouses, and Veteran Caregivers and ChampVA beneficiaries (12 and older): Walk-in without an appointment 8 am - 3 pm Monday - Friday , or join the Veteran for their scheduled appointment and receive the vaccine (NOTE: The Veteran does not have to be present to get vaccinated)

Application process

Appointments and walk-ins at all VA facilities and outpatient clinics that offer the vaccine:- Enrolled Veterans: Call to schedule- Non-enrolled Veterans, Veteran Spouses, and Veteran Caregivers and ChampVA beneficiaries (12 and older): Complete the Sign up to get a COVID-19 vaccine at VA tool (https://www.va.gov/health-care/covid-19-vaccine/stay-informed) before the appointment or walk-in. Call to schedule. Walk-in without an appointment Monday - Friday 8 am - 3 pm, or join the Veteran for their scheduled appointment and receive the vaccine (NOTE: the Veteran does not have to be present to get vaccinated).
