Service area
- Provides financial assistance to households to pay a portion of their home heating cost. The size of the household grant is based on household size, income, fuel type and energy usage. Grants are sent directly to client's fuel vendor and/or electric vendor - Mail out applications available - Energy Related Repair Program is available to EAP eligible homeowners that occupies the home and has a hazardous and life threatening situation, has no heat, or has a malfunctioning heating system - Individuals should call for applications(or an application is on the bicap website available to download). Applications will be processed in the order in which they were received. If household is in an emergency situation, can call the Energy Assistance Program staff to see if immediate assistance is available based on funding and the completion of the application.
