Primarily serves Koochiching County Any working aged person, 16 years or older, with a vocational disability (meeting the admission criteria) is eligible for ODC services. Further information may be received by contacting the Program Director at ODC

  • ODC contracts with local companies to perform work at their place of business
  • Provides ODC participants and employees with meaningful work and in some cases, results in a transition from supported employment to competitive employment Examples of community based work are: Mobile Work Crews - Jobs such as yard work, cleaning, etc. Enclave (Small work crew) - ODC contracts with an industry and provides a trainer as needed
  • Industry provides material and site of work Individual Work Site
  • ODC contracts to perform work for just one individual
  • The work is done at the place of business and a trainer from ODC will be provided as needed
