Direct Access - Blue Earth County Human Services

Direct Access allows an individual to go directly to a provider they choose to receive a comprehensive assessment and access care immediately. The county will assess individuals who need help paying for a substance use assessment or treatment services through the Behavioral Health Fund. Services also include:

- Connecting individuals to a service provider for substance use assessment or treatment services

- When legal intervention is required, staff can assist with mental health and substance use commitments as outlined on their legal proceedings

NOTE: The Behavioral Health Fund applies only if individuals do not have health care insurance coverage or have partial coverage for SUD assessment and treatment services
