Government Advocacy - Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs
- Advises the governor and legislature on behalf of Chicano-Latino persons in the state - Recommends legislation designed to improve the economic, social and educational status of Chicano-Latino people - Serves as a conduit for the Chicano-Latino community to the state - Implements programs designed to solve problems of Chicano-Latino people - Performs studies designed to suggest solutions to problems in areas of education, employment, etc.
