Provides assistance and support to veterans and their dependents in obtaining benefits through state and federal programs including:
  • Burial benefits
  • Financial assistance through the Veteran's Affairs (VA) for dental work
  • GI Bill Education training
  • GI life insurance
  • Home loan guaranteed by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA)
  • Information and referral to other service providers for substance use treatment and vocational rehabilitation
  • Outpatient medical care through the Veteran's Affairs (VA)
  • Service-connected disability compensation
  • State Soldiers Assistance Program (SSAP): Program that provides Veterans who are unable to work as a result of temporary disability with cash assistance toward housing (rent, mortgage, or utilities) or other personal needs
  • Survivor's and dependents education
  • Transportation to Veteran's Affairs (VA) Medical Center
  • Veteran/military health insurance
  • Veteran survivor insurance
