Each child who has been awarded a scholarship is eligible to receive up to $8,500 for a 12 month period, depending on tuition costs and the Parent Aware Star rating of the program. Scholarships are renewable until the child is Kindergarten eligible. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the early childhood program that the family chooses which may include Parent Aware rated family or center-based child care programs, preschool programs, school district programs, or Head Start programs.
