Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) is a structured form of mental health treatment that provides a higher level of care than traditional outpatient therapy. It is designed to meet the needs of individuals who need more support and guidance than regular outpatient therapy, but do not require residential or inpatient treatment. IOP involves group therapy, individual therapy, and medication management that meets multiple times throughout the week.
