Auto theft and Property Crime: (651)291-1111 Investigates crime related to auto, forgery, fraud, and theft. - Visit website to file a police report online Deaf and Hard of Hearing Coordinator: (651)266-5733 Provides free sign language, oral interpreters, TTY, and other services Family Violence Unit: (651)266-5676 Investigates crime related to children, domestic, and elderly abuse Gang/Gun Unit: (651)266-5755 - Investigates: Execution of search warrants and the tracking of firearms taken as evidence Firearm and gang related cases Gambling Illegal selling, buying, and possession of dangerous drugs and narcotics Review and return of firearms to legally-authorized owners. - Partners with: Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) Project Safe Neighborhoods Tracing Center Homicide Unit: (651)266-5650 - Investigates: Homicides, suicides, unattended deaths, and several other crimes including assaults, kidnappings, obstructing legal process and terroristic threats Work closely with the Survivor Resources Center (651)266-5685 to provide for survivors of homicide victims, including keeping the victim's family informed through the stages of the criminal justice process Juvenile unit: (651)266-5612 Investigates all cases where the offender is under the age of 18 except homicides, burglaries, and criminal sexual conduct Sex Crimes Unit: (651)266-5685 - Investigates sex crimes that include, but limited to: Indecent conduct Molestation Rape Sexual assault Stalking Special Investigations: (651)266-5900 - Investigates crimes related to: Bookmaking Gambling Human trafficking - Vice and Narcotics Unit: email [email protected] - Investigates: Illegal selling, buying, and possession of dangerous drugs and narcotics - To report, email [email protected]. ?
