Low income adults without children that have an annual gross income under 200% Federal Poverty Guideline who are residents of Anoka County

Application/registration form eviction notice if applying for help with eviction identification card names must be on lease, rental agreement, or utility bill proof of address Social Security card/number utility bills verification of income and liquid assets in the past 30 days

Cash-grant program for adults with low incomes experiencing a household emergency. Adults can receive assistance once every 12 months. The assistance received must resolve the crisis. Adults must use their own money first. The amount of assistance received depends on the household size and type of emergency. The amount of assistance provided might not cover the entire emergency, but it can help.
  • Provides assistance with past due rent for eviction, electric service payment assistance, gas service payment assistance, heating fuel payment assistance, and water service payment assistance due to a shutoff. Utility shut-off assistance is limited.
  • Vendor is paid directly. Does not help with late or application fees.
