Description

Provides training for early childhood educators living in the seven-county metro area to meet requirements for DCYF Licensing, Parent Aware, and for individual professional development needs. Professional Development Advisors (PDAs): Help programs that have joined Parent Aware find training and other details for their star-rating goal. Also offers educators advising for CDA Credentials and higher education pathways through the new Empower to Educate program. Empower to Education: Helps current and aspiring early childhood educators begin, advance, and sustain their child care careers. This program is free for anyone in the state of Minnesota and includes financial support information, free job skills training such as resume writing and interviewing, and access to low- to no-cost higher education.
