Education for Families, Professionals and Individuals with Early Dementia - Alzheimer's Association Minnesota - North Dakota Chapter

- Education is available for persons with dementia and their family and professional care partners. Dementia specific workshops and an annual conference are available. Topics may include Understanding Memory Loss, Legal/Financial Planning, Partnering with your Doctor, Understanding Communication and Challenging Behaviors, Know the 10 Signs, Understanding Alzheimer's and Maintain your Brain. - Professional Education will focus on meeting the requirements of the MN Dementia Training Law and enhancing the skills of professional care partners.

Eligibility

Open to all in Minnesota and North Dakota experiencing Alzheimer's disease, a related dementia, or memory loss in themselves or a family member. Professionals may also use the Information Helpline and Care Consultation for assistance with dementia/memory loss related issues.
