• Responsible for issuing permits for building, contractors, curb cuts and sidewalks; electrical, land use, fire suppression, mechanical and fence; plumbing, signage, underground storage tank removal, and zoning

Planning Department:

• The department that manages city planning, subdivision ordinance, and zoning for commercial, industrial, and residential

Public Works:

• Includes maintenance of city buildings, city vehicles, parks, sidewalks, sanitary and storm sewers, snow plowing and sweeping, street, and water distribution system
