Community Health - Roseau County Public Health

Provides public health services focused on promoting community wellness, preventing disease, and protecting population health in the service area.- Collaborative wellness initiatives with community partners, schools, workplaces, and organizations to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent chronic disease (e.g., tobacco-free initiatives, physical activity promotion)- Community health assessment and planning to identify local health needs and guide community health improvement efforts- Communicable disease investigation, follow-up, and control measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases- CPR training and certification available to community members (fee-based)?- School health-related services in partnership with school districts, which may include health screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis), health education, and related servicesInvestigation and follow-up of public health nuisance reports that may impact community health and safety
