Eligibility

Residents of Sherburne County who are:- Fathers or alleged fathers of a minor child- Parents of a minor child, and if one parent does not live with the child- Parents who pay court-ordered child support- Have court-ordered, physical custody of a minor child- Receiving public assistance for a minor child who lives in their home

A monthly $15 fee is paid by the parent paying support, deducted through income withholding

Provides establishment and enforcement of child support orders. Services include:- Collecting current and past-due support payments- Establishing parentage- Establishing and enforcing child support orders for basic, medical, or child care support- Locating non-custodial parents- Reviews and modifies court orders for support??NOTE: Child Support Services does not provide parenting time, custody, legal advice, divorce counsel, or spousal maintenance establishment
