Mayor and City Council ?Member Contact Information Departments: - Administration: processes utility bills, accounts receivable, accounts payable, building permits, fields and directs questions, coordinates meetings of the City Council and its committees, monitors city funds and budgets, manages policy and ordinance implementation, and performs other necessary functions - Economic Development - Public Works Department: responsible for providing clean drinking water, safe roads, reliable electricity, and proper treatment of wastewater - Public Library - Parks and Recreation: manages and maintains city parks and recreation areas including the Staples Community Center and Dower Lake Recreation Area.
