- A safe shelter for women who have been battered in a relationship - 60 day limit has been set on how long one can stay - Children are welcome, with legal guardian/parent - Every woman makes her own decision to stay in the relationship, divorce or separate - The role of the shelter is not to make decisions for her but to support her in the decision she makes - Non-judgmental Services provided: - Help in filling out Orders For Protection - Individual and/or group advocacy - Accompaniment - Safety planning - Support groups - Wellness Program - Food Program
