Eligibility
- At-risk families who are residents of Carver County with a child under 10 years of age identified through screened-out child maltreatment reports, community referrals or self-referrals
- Families currently active with Child Protection Services do not qualify

Program Fees
- No Fee
Once enrolled in the Parent Support Outreach Program help is provided to at-risk families to avoid future incidents of child maltreatment and to enhance child and family well-being, including:
- Comprehensive assessments, early intervention, outreach, and supportive and therapeutic services
- Connecting families with county and community-based services
- Limited financial assistance for families to meet basic needs
- SafeCare parent coaching provides regular visits to help parents learn to manage a child's behavior, increase positive time with the child, how to make the home safer, and keep the child healthy
