Eligibility

Serves residents of Hibbing; to qualify, applicants must:

Have a gas bill in their name and received a final shut-off notice or have been disconnected

Have exhausted all other energy assistance funds

Be responsible for paying their heat bill

Have a bill under $1000

Have paid 3% of the household annual income towards the balance

Have a critical event (crisis or emergency) that has prevented them from paying the bill
