Eligibility
- Veterans and their dependents who are residents of Nicollet County
- State Subsistence is available to a veteran or a surviving spouse if they are disabled and prevented from working at their normal occupation for at least 30 days or without a disabling medical condition within one year of the Veteran's death.

- State Subsistence Assistance: Financial assistance for healthcare insurance premiums, personal needs funds, shelter-associated payments (association dues, homeowners' insurance, mortgage, rent, room and board, and property taxes), and utility assistance (cell phone, electric, gas, internet, propane, sanitation/sewer, and water).
