Environmental Home Assessments - ConnectAbility of MN
Project coordinators are certified accessibility specialists who will perform an environmental accessibility assessment of a home to help identify areas that could be improved for mobility and safety. Specialists will look at the construction and layout of the home as well as how things are used. They examine flooring, hallways, doorways, bathrooms, and kitchens to determine how accessible they are. Coordinators will determine plans that can help keep people in their homes longer and recommend any additional assistive technology options that would be beneficial.
