Year-round centers are located throughout the city. Some have gymnasiums and auditoriums. They offer programs for preschoolers, youth, teens, families, and senior citizens. Outdoor playing fields, golf courses, swimming pools/lakes, and indoor recreation centers are available. - Call for fee information; fees for special areas such as golf courses and for use of buoys, canoe racks, picnic shelters, wedding sites, professional filming and photography, off-leash dog parks, instructional programs, etc. - Special rates to Minneapolis residents 62 years or older for Annual Patron Parking Permit - Qualified Minneapolis residents who cannot afford instruction fees because of their economic need may be permitted instruction at no charge. Contact the director of the nearest center.
