Foster Care Services - Winona County Health and Human Services - Human Service Division

Eligibility
Licensed adult foster care providers must meet minimum licensing standards: must reside in Winona County in a home that meets fire-safety code; be at least 18 years of age; allow the county or state to complete a criminal history background check on all household members who are 13 years of age or older; provide a physician's statement for all household members stating they are physically able to care for vulnerable adult(s) placed in the home; provide 3 positive references; must have bedroom space available for resident(s) and have an approved fire inspection; complete a home study of the family; and meet required training hours annually; vulnerable children and adults
