Funding for a simple piece of equipment, a uniform or tools in order to start a job. Bus Fare for individuals that have a job opportunity in place and have been offered employment or are starting a new job. Assistance up to one month of employment for bus fare.

Application; state ID; verification of employment/licensing In some cases, applicant will be required to provide additional information.

Eligibility

Minnesota residents 18 or older who: - Are Homeless or in unstable housing (individuals couch hopping, staying with friends or family, or living in a hotel do qualify; individuals in subsidized housing, Section 8, in a correctional halfway house, etc. do not qualify) - Have a verifiable job offer or have started a new job in the last two months (employment requirement: minimum of 25 hours/week) - Have completed requirements needed for professional licensing, registration or a certificate and need assistance for the fees. Small Sums must be able to verify.
