Minnesota Supplemental Aid - MSA - Scott County Economic Assistance

Provides a monthly cash grant to people who are aged, blind or disabled and who receive federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. Some individuals whose income is too high to receive SSI may be eligible for MSA. NOTE: Most of these individuals also receive or are eligible to receive SSI and/or RSDI. Applications for SSI/RSDI are handled through the local Social Security office, not Scott County. Individuals may be eligible for the Medicare Savings Programs.

Residents of Scott County who are eligible for SSI and are: - Ages 65 and older - Blind or have severely impaired vision - Disabled and are between the ages of 18 - 65
