  • Medica members can chat live with a nurse about their health issues at myMedica.com. After logging onto myMedica.com, members should navigate to Health Topics and Tools > Ask a Professional > Start Live Nurse Chat. A Medica ID card is required for the first visit.

Members can get immediate answers to health questions from a Personal Health Advocate 24 hours/7 days a week. An advocate can help address health concerns such as:
  • Access elder care and related health issues
  • Access trained registered nurses for advice and information anytime
  • Answer questions about medical test results, treatments, and medications recommended by primary physician
  • Find doctors, hospitals, dentists, and other leading health care providers
  • Help members make informed health decisions based on health information
  • Help transfer medical records
  • Resolve health care claim issues and assist with billing and payment arrangements
  • Schedule appointments with providers, including hard-to-reach specialists and critical care providers
