Children's mental health services are voluntary and include: - Assisting families in navigating mental health services, including hospitalization and residential placements - Conducts initial and ongoing comprehensive diagnostic assessments of need to create driven case plans - Engaging families in supports and services to appropriately address the child's needs - Identifying children with needs at the earliest possible time - Information and referral to services including: - Children's therapeutic services - Respite services - Parenting supports/services - Awareness/education opportunities - Providing case management services which includes visits with families and children within their home, community, or school settings on at least a monthly basis to address needs
