Provides educational classes and service learning opportunities for groups: Gardening Education Classes: throughout the growing season, garden interns provide youth groups and adults with fun, hands-on learning projects at Urban Roots gardens. Community groups learn organic growing techniques and help with planting, maintenance and harvesting. Cooking and Nutrition Education Classes: hands-on nutrition classes taught to students in St. Paul Public Schools and other educational partners. Youth and families are taught cooking at various community sites. Environmental Educations Classes: promotion of environmental awareness to elementary and middle school children. Farm Field Trips: Opportunities for groups to tour and visit a working vegetable farm in the City of Saint Paul.?? Storytime in the Garden: Weekly story time at the Children's Garden at Rivoli Bluff Farm & Restoration Site in partnership with Saint Paul Public Libraries. This activity is geared toward small children and families.
