Financial services provided to customers include: Financial counseling referrals: refers individuals for debt management Free credit reports: get a free copy of a credit report and expert help managing debt and building credit. Savings accounts: assistance in opening a savings account with no monthly fees and no minimum balance requirements. No credit checks or bank history review needed. Prepaid debit cards: no fees (enrollment, monthly, usage). Free direct deposit for tax refund, paycheck, or benefits.

In order open a free savings account or get a low-cost prepaid debit card, customers must have: - Proof of identification and address such as a valid Minnesota driver's license, valid Minnesota state ID, expired Minnesota driver's license and valid renewal receipt issued in last 30 days or out-of-state ID and valid Minnesota resident application receipt with current address issued in last 30 days - If the current address does not match the address on ID, the address must be changed at the DMV or proof of current address must be made by providing a utility bill or a pay stub with name and current address (cell phone bill will not be accepted.) - Taxpayer Identification Number such as a Social Security card of Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)

Must meet income guidelines: - Individuals making $35,000 or less, families making $55,000 or less per year - Self-employed taxpayers with income less than $55,000 per year - Serves the Twin Cities Metro area
