American Indian Education Programs - Saint Paul Public Schools Independent School District 625

Programming is developed by the SPPS American Indian Education Parent Committee which is composed of parents/guardians of American Indian students, teachers and staff under the teacher's contract actively working in the district, and the American Indian secondary students attending a district school. The role is to assist and advise the district in providing effective school programs and services for American Indian students. Offered at various schools, all services are supplemental to existing services or are services not provided by another school program. - Academic/tutorial assistance and counseling - Chemical prevention program - Cultural enrichment - Post-secondary education counseling - Referral to emergency services for families experiencing extreme hardship - Referral to special programs including gifted/talented programs - Social service support
