Families must use their own money first. The amount of financial assistance provided depends on family size and type of emergency. The amount of assistance provided might not cover the entire emergency, but it can help. - Helps families experiencing a financial crisis and may provide financial assistance for up to two months of rent, one month with a deposit, or utilities (electric, gas, and heating service payment assistance).
