Description

- The Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) Program, known in Minnesota as the Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) Program, is a benefit for Medical Assistance and Minnesota Care. C&TC provides comprehensive health care for children and teens, newborn through the age of 20, who are enrolled in Medical Assistance (MA) or MinnesotaCare - The goal of the C&TC Program is to improve the health of eligible children and teens and reduce the negative impact of health problems. Medical care costs can be reduced by providing preventive medical care and early diagnosis and treatment of conditions that threaten children's health - Public Health provides outreach through letters and phone calls to new and current participants in the C&TC program. C&TC visits are completed at participants primary care clinic.
