Ginew/Golden Eagle Programs - Minneapolis American Indian Center
Year-round program (offered Monday - Friday, occasionally Saturday) for American Indian youth ages 5 - 18 who reside in south Minneapolis, including: - Activities provided with a cultural emphasis that help youth to develop skills to make healthy life choices including physical activities and field trips, the American Indian Youth Olympics, and evening meals - Homework help in Math, Reading, and Social Studies - Youth intervention services for youth who experience challenges with truancy, the judicial system, chemical dependency, and/or have dropped out of school - Youth leadership activities geared toward tobacco prevention
