Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. - Single day assessment clinic: Evaluation and recommended treatment planned in one-day visit - Physical, occupational, and speech therapies available - Follow-up: re-evaluation and treatment monitoring - Educational opportunities for people with Parkinson's and family members include recently diagnosed classes, deep brain stimulation surgery information sessions, annual Progress and Possibilities regional conference, young-onset Parkinson's programs, community outreach events - Specialty programs include preventing falls, safe and healthy eating, coping with thinking, and memory changes - Group activities: Support network offering information, discussion and problem sharing to family members and caregivers. More than 80 support groups meet regularly throughout 5 state regions - Resource Center: Educational programs and materials covering topics related to Parkinson's disease - Club Create is a therapeutic day program offering holistic, stimulating programs, and socializing and provides needed respite for care partners. Patients can participate in one or more sessions each week - Annual full-day session for patients; fee charged - Research participation opportunities available
