Get Ready Program - Minnesota Office of Higher Education
Provides personal guidance, academic support, and information to students and parents to help them begin thinking and planning for their educational futures. Outreach liaisons meet with students and/or families in school classrooms and in small groups to help them understand personal and family values, goals, interests, and provide tutoring. Includes exploration of: - Career information and the different types of postsecondary options to reach career goals - Class choice options in middle and high school to prepare to enter and succeed in postsecondary education - College planning and goal setting - Various ways to cover the costs of postsecondary education
