Participants must be families who are: - Experiencing homelessness - File an application and provide verifications* - Children must be 12 or younger, or 13 - 14 with special needs - Meet income limits of childcare assistant applicant - Cooperate with child support - Participate in authorized activities (such as work, school, or job search)* - Have children who meet citizenship and immigration status requirements - Pay the family copayment fee (based on income and family size) - Serves Benton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Kandiyohi, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright counties *These requirements are waived for the first three months for families experiencing homelessness

Description

Support families experiencing homelessness in obtaining and maintaining access to childcare assistance. The grant provides support services such as diapers, wipes, car seats, and strollers.
