Helps moderate-to low-income people attain homeownership. People who make 50 - 80% of the median income can purchase homes through the land trust. The land trust owns the land on which the home sits and the homeowners lease the land through a 99-year ground lease. When homeowners wish to sell, they agree to sell their home to another income-qualified buyer at a price determined by a resale formula. This keeps the home affordable for future homeowners.
