Description

Provides individualized, community-based support for adults with serious mental illness to help them live independently and improve daily functioning. Services focus on: - Basic Living and Social Skills: Training in household management, budgeting, shopping, healthy routines, relapse prevention, and coping strategies to enhance independent living. - Community Intervention: Assistance in navigating community systems, including coordination with agencies, employers, and family members, to support functional independence. - Medication Education: Guidance on understanding mental illness, medication management, potential side effects, and strategies to maintain psychiatric stability. - Tailored, Flexible Services: ARMHS is customized to the individual's needs, with flexible hours and locations in the home or community to promote personal growth and social competence. Goal is to restore and enhance skills necessary for independent living, improve emotional adjustment, and support meaningful community engagement.
