Eligibility
- Residents of Hennepin County who are pregnant or breastfeeding, infants or children from one year old until fifth birthday- Families that receive Medical Assistance, food support, MFIP, free or reduced school lunch, Head Start, fuel assistance or other assistance programs- Working families that meet income requirements (a family of 4 earning as much as $60,000 per year may qualify)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that assists pregnant women, new mothers, infants and young children to eat well, learn about nutrition and stay healthy. Many working and low-income families are eligible for WIC's benefits. The WIC Program provides:- Breastfeeding advice and support - Nutrition assessment and feeding tips- Referrals to health and social services- Vouchers for healthy foods (for example, milk, fresh fruit, vegetables, and eggs)
