Banking services designed to assist community members who are underserved by traditional banks. Services are mostly provided through a "branchless" bank system that relies on online or mobile technology. FAIR Checking: offers a checking account with no overdraft fees or monthly minimum balance requirements. A checking account can be opened with a $25 deposit. FAIR Credit Builder: provides individuals with a $500 loan that is locked into a Certificate of Deposit (CD) account. Participants make monthly payments over 18 months to establish a positive credit payment history. After 18 months, participants receive the $500 plus CD interest minus fees. FAIR Savings: no monthly fees or required minimum balance. A savings account can be opened with a $25 deposit.
