Resource center providing information and resources, including: - A number of various loss mitigation programs and informational resources to assist FHA-insured homeowners facing financial hardship and whose mortgage is either in default or at risk of default. - Answers consumer questions about buying a home, qualifying for a mortgage, down payment assistance, buying HUD homes, refinancing, lien releases, obtaining a HUD-1 settlement statement, request for payoff amounts, or other issues associated with an FHA-insured mortgage - HUD handbooks, forms, and publications
